Building project in Maryville
Pictured above are the first brothers and sisters that are beginning their new adventure in Maryville. The dog just happened to show up, which is certainly appropriate for country living in Tennessee!
Bulldozers are rolling, roads are being built, wells are being dug, and plans are being studied and drawn up! The diocese of Knoxville has graciously welcomed us into the diocese, and generous benefactors have “paved the way” for our international expansion. This makes alot of sense, after all, given that there are many Americans in both the male and female commmunities. The site of our American monasteries (male and female) is called “Little Mountain.” How appropriate is that for our “little” charism? It is truly breathtaking, in the foothills of the Great Smokies. Little Mountain is located in Maryville, TN and the monasteries that will be constructed there will become our new Mother Houses. Mother Gabriele and Fr. Elijah will both be living in the USA again as soon as the monasteries are ready.
